Covid Testing - Frequently Asked Questions

We are only performing Covid testing for nursing home residents and staff.  For individuals who live or work in Montgomery County we encourage them to visit https://data-montcopa.opendata.arcgis.com/pages/covid-testing-page

What type of test are you offering?

  • We offer the BD Veritor rapid antigen test.  The test is performed with a nasal swab.

How do I get a test?  Do I need a prescription?

  • Simply fill out the form below and a member of our team will call to confirm your appointment.  You do not need a separate prescription from your physician.  We hold a CLIA waiver with authority granted by the Department of Health and Human Services to order and administer Covid-19 tests.

How long is the process?  When will I get my results back?

  • The test itself takes approximately 15 minutes to analyze.  The entire process -  a nasal swab, lab analysis, and paperwork should be completed in under 30 minutes.  You can stay for the results or we can call you when it is complete.

Do you offer walk-ins or appointments?

  • All tests are by appointment only.  Please see the form below for the list of available times and to schedule an appointment.

I was exposed to someone who was tested positive for Covid-19.  When/should I test?

  • The CDC defines exposure as being within 6ft of an individual for at least 15 minutes.  The rapid test is most accurate when you have symptoms or within 3-5 days after exposure.  If you were recently exposed ( < 3 days) your body will likely not produce enough of the virus for an antigen test detection.

Where is the test conducted?

  • We are conducting swabbing while you are in your parked vehicle, in the parking lot of our building located at 1427 Horsham Rd, North Wales, PA 19454.  It's on the campus of Horsham Center for Jewish Life (1425 Horsham) but a separate one story building.

How much does the test cost?

  • Most insurance will fully cover the cost of the test.  If you are uninsured or the insurance doesn't cover the test, we offer a discounted rate of $80.
